What's on your List....

Of movies to watch, that is?

To keep me accompanied..... and from going out of my mind........

Hot soup, Lots of Water, and 4 good movies (hopefully)

1)Mr. Woodcock - Have yet to watch.

2)The Game Plan - Cute little girl, love how she dresses up the bulldog, but it's not a movie I'd buy or rent again.

3)Waitress - This is a really great "heart" felt movie.... A total Chick Flick! I Love the names of her pies :-) I give this my personal "High Five" Full of smiles, laughs, giggles, a tear or two, heart felt feelings, 20 minute hug, good pie making, wonderful supporting actresses. Love Becky, George and Becky's Man just hilarious!!!

It's a keeper!

I think I'll invent some pie names today :=)

4)Little Miss Sunshine - OMG! GO Olive!!!! Ok this is RR not recommended for young kids...... Starts out kind of ODD but ends well.

So far the only movie I would rent again is the Waitress........

As I'm sure you can tell! I could watch this 468 times x 2

No more updates... May you all enjoy the rest of your week and your week-end.

Be safe with what ever you do. Until my next post I'll be dreaming of pie....

OH Damn, another update:

OK, I bet I yelled out at least 10 pie names while in the shower; I feel like crap pie, I'm beautiful pie, I should of listen to my mom pie, take this job and shove it pie, kiss my ass pie, make me better pie.... and well I kept going back to Make Me Better Pie... As soon as I have the recipe I'll be sure to share it....

Influenza....

If you haven't already done so, please GO GET YOUR FLU SHOT!

I didn't get my flu shot this year and I came down with it Friday night. Fever, body aches, awful muscle aches, chills, SWEAT, headache, Painful Cough, Chest Congestion (big time), sleepy and just out right miserable......

The weekend forecast is in the upper 40's and I'm stuck inside. My friend Terri called and said "The Girls" were going to see the "Bucket List" and then go drink beer and eat good food. I was looking forward to a long walk and I'm still stuck inside.

NOW
IF I would have listen to my mother and went and got my Flu Shot I wouldn't be in this situation.

So Please go get yours........

1/28/08
I was able to walk outside this morning and feel a little Sunshine on my face. How Good That Felt! Now under Dr's care I'm home for the remaining week. 2 prescriptions which I will take until gone to treat the ugly bronchitis.... Once again GO GET YOUR FLU SHOT! EOS!

Update on Work

I got to meet with my new boss and upper management these last two days. On Monday in the staff meeting I was quoted as "A Highly Important Person" by Gina who reports to the RBG Group head. This quote is still trying to settle in...

I was able to voice my concerns and provide resolutions on what we needed to maintain the Branch Scorecard and MIP. They were rather surprised on how we've been able to work through some issues without the proper tools and processes in place. Yesterday they escalated those requests and will continue their efforts to help out over the course of time. Time will tell the story behind that...

I'm still on target with the deliverables and feeling rather excited about getting this done. I figure if these next few days and nights go as plan I'll be completed by Saturday night... :-)

------------
I'm home and I'm staying here until Wednesday...

Some things aren't worth talking about. And this project is one of them....

Time for me to go to bed... so I can have a restful evening

---------

My so restful sleep did not happen... On the phone all day with other business units and such...

I have to go back into work tomorrow :-(

After I take Brandon and Brett to Church.... I'll go back in....

Right now I'm thinking of one word... The word in which the little baby says in "Meet the Parents"

----------

Last Update: We're done! :-) Finally :-)

Project Coming to an end

For the past year I've been working on a project at work, which has had many many challenges... This project identifies the top 20 participants who performed at the top of the banks expected performance. These next two weeks we'll be preparing for the final delivery of these top 20 Participants.. These reports will then go to the CEO and RBG Group head of the bank - Top of the chain... They will then deliver these standings at the Annual Kick-off Meeting in Las Vegas, where 3,000 bank employees meet up every year. Will I get to go again? I don't know, but I do know it's been mentioned amongst upper management.

I'll be preparing the data and coordinating the processing from the 14th through the 22nd. Unfortunately I'm slotted to work the entire weekend including the holiday. However, I am working with a DBA to eliminate the Sunday and Monday processing to be included in the Friday nights processing. If I can get this to work I'll be able to deliver my standings as of Saturday night and enjoy having Sunday and Monday off. Then all I have to do is support the other groups in their final updates. Once this is completed it'll be a great accomplishment for everyone involved.

We went through a re-org at work. I'm to meet my temporary new boss and her boss (who reports to the RBG Group Head) on Monday and Tuesday. We've been told that more changes are coming down. There's been a lot of talk at work so everyone is a little nervous and curious. Needless to say those two days will be most interesting.

Here's to a successful next two weeks...
