Things A Doan...

Today I'm taking the boys out to Lexington Ne to meet up with Grandma :=)... Packing this morning and traveling late afternoon...

This week I'll have to look at buying a new laptop or take this one in. For the past month it's been really really slow... I think it's all those pictures I have on here. HA! I can hardly edit a post let alone create a new one... Going from one site to another takes up more time then I want... Oh Well... I have to go out and shop anyway so I'll "Look".. UPDATE: Thank you for the comment on things to look at... Yesterday this ol' LTop was crawling, Today it's Speedy but no Gonzales. Memory will come later.

Brett got a new fish last night. His name is Tony and is still alive. It's a blue Beta :-) Hopefully I won't kill it while he's gone. He woke me up at 10pm last night and wanted to know who was going to feed Tony while he was gone... Ha ha... Update: He's still alive and swimming strong

Memorial weekend I may go back to Lexington Ne to camp with the boys and Aunt Joleen. Rachael has baseball games so they'll be setting up a site on Saturday - Monday... Update # 2: Going camping with the boys and Aunt Joleen and Uncle Tim at Johnson Lake ... We'll had home on Monday... :-)

May everyone have a safe and happy Memorial Weekend...

Last Day... and new beginnings

Last day of School

Brandon and Brett's last day of school was Thursday. Oh how excited they are for summer to be here. Me on the other hand??? Just trying to keep up..

Brandon had a "louowl" class party for his last day... This explains the Hawaiian outfit :=) I'm very proud to say that Brandon has been chosen to participate in HAL next year. HAL stands for High Ability Learners.... :=) Very proud indeed. And Brandon is most excited about this... HAL students get to visit a HAL classroom where they're challenged to do more etc... :=) One Proud Mom :-)

Last day of Soccer :-) Yippee :-)

Actually the last day is this coming up Saturday, however we won't be there. Brett and Brandon both had their final soccer games on Saturday. Brett got his face painted: :=)

A Now It's Baseball Time.... which started today, WOW! They just don't give ya a break between sports. Oh well... They'll have a week off and so will I as they are going back to see Grandma (My Mom) this Wednesday... Lucky us we're only doing 1 summer baseball tour. We won't be participating in the strike zone this year.

On another note, Buddy has a new playmate. Little "Princess" is her name... Oh and she's all that and then some. Now if Buddy would stop being a BITCH she just might want to play alittle more often...

PS: She's not mine :-( She belongs to my neighboors, but if she ever comes up missing they know where to look :-)

My First Mud Bath

My Garden is in, the house is clean, laundry is done, so what the HECK? Why Not? What Can I SAY? I treated myself to my first ever *mud bath, wrap and massage... O - Me - Oh - MY -MUD PIE! :=) I never ever dreamed that I would do a *mud bath before, but I thought to myself.... What the hell... Why not... So I DID! :-) And to make it even more interesting. I had two blind ladies provide this for me.... YES! 2 blind ladies. One of them had a seeing eye dog named Hank... A very very tall white poodle... Just a hoot, the lady that is (not the dog)... She was just a riot and soo much fun... She really had a way to make you let your mine gooo and goooo and gooooo.... OH WOW! It was so so relaxing and soo Fabulous.. Just Fabulous. I got the Sedona Eve French Red Clay bath, wrap and massage... This is the most effective anti-oxidant and anti-ageing formula. This left my skin soft and remineralized with a noticeable glow... Not that it doesn't already glow :-) haha..

My next adventure will be the "Garden Mint" I Can't wait....

*removed a couple of words :=) ha

Playing with Fire 2008 Series at the Lewis and Clark Landing

Saturday Night Chris and I took the boys to the Lewis and Clark Landing where we ate good food, drank a few beeers and pigged out on some more really yummy food and listen to some blues. We road the "Ronald McDonald" Bus which was a hoot and the boys got to "Skate" with their "Heelies"

I thought I'd give Kodak a try... Click on the link below.

Back on the farm

Back on the farm is where I am... Me, Jackie and the boys are back at my mom's house having much fun... We left Bellevue around Noon and didn't get to McCook until 6ish... A some what long ride, but yet an easy ride.... We meet up with Jackie in Kearney and from there she followed us to McCook... Brett rode with her from Kearney on and Brandon went with me. Brandon learned a new song "Flow Ride" something about "Apple Pie Jeans" just all in all way too funny.. I have a video of him singing it on my phone cam... This video will have to come at a later date as I have no phone reception out here on the farm :-(

My niece Sarah is graduating from High School. My sister put together a reception for her on Friday night. It was very nice. They did an excellent job setting things up... There was a slide show going with many pictures of Sarah growing up. Little kids running around the church and having a good time... Good food, good people, good friends and relatives. On Sunday at 2pm we get to see Sarah graduate then after that we'll head back to the "City Life" :-(

Sarah

Saturday morning we took the boys down to the "cow pins" and put them to work, while we stood by and instructed them on what to doo...

After we feed the cow's we had fun feeding the baby calves and trying to ride and tackle a few...

Later on I took a walk around the barns and through the trees. I found an old out house, which use to be my step dad's potty house :-) and an ol wash board, which would of been Grandma Keeneys...

Along my walk I passed by the old barn.. Where I stopped and look and starred and said out loud two times really fast "Ewe Ewe What's That - Ewe Ewe - What's That" and then two WHITE OWLS fly out of the barn. They were sitting on the beams inside the barn next the their nest. I actually saw these White Owls when they were babies about two years ago.. And now they're back. They're really hard to get a picture of... I'm hoping tomorrow early morning I can sneak down and try to capture a picture of them... Very pretty and unique birds...

Later on in the afternoon I got to take my car for a ride in the mud... Yep - Four Wheeling, only with front wheel drive. OOOhhh We're having much fun, lots of pics and videos to show.... It feels 'Awesome' to get away from the city life... :-) It amazes me how different mud and snow are. Dale followed me to the black top to make sure I made it into town ok... :-) Which I did. I spent the afternoon in McCook with Jackie, Sarah and Rachel..

Rachael

The boys have been playing in the mud and with the calves again...
Having entirely way too much fun... We can't forget about Ringo... Adorable as ever..

Videos of the boys with the calves...

Brett just couldn't seem to get a good ride..

But he tried..

Mother's Day & Sarahs Big Day - Congratulations Sarah :-)

Ok, Now these two pictures are just priceless.... They're all just priceless..

A Weekend made for movies and other "Stuff"

IronMan

Saturday Update: IRONMAN ROCKS! Another night of a packed movie house and one AWESOME Movie.... As you can tell I really liked it and the boys loved it too... A must see movie.. Really cool cars, lot's of action and just simply awesome. Not like any other "Superhero" movie I've seen.... I highly recommend it.

Mama Baby

Friday Night Update: I saw Mama Baby tonight. A very funny movie guaranteed to bring you plenty of laughs. I'll have to rent it when it comes out as the theater was jammed packed with teenagers... Almost made me feel like one again..... Oh how I miss my Jackie.... It did get a little overly noisy at times so I missed a few parts... But it was still a good time...

The bathroom scene was classic and the parental classes were hilarious. Many more funny parts then what you see in the trailers... I can't say much more then that, without spoiling it... I'll just say the story has a little twist, but a great ending... Definitely a movie worth seeing... I give this movie Two Thumbs up!

On to another topic.... When I came out of the theater to much of my surprise.... It was... and still is sleeting\raining outside... Good ol' NE Weather for ya... (Why should this be a surprise?) My Mom reported snow on the ground and sent pictures.... UGG! Oh well... I'll take it this weekend as I don't want it next weekend.... The boys and I will be going home on Friday to return either late Sunday night or Monday morning. We will follow Jackie in her car and head to McCook NE, then off to Trenton, Ne... My niece Sarah is graduating on Sunday at 2pm.... Yippie... Class of 2008... My how time goes by....

A picture from my Mom --- My Home.... This is a beautiful picture.... Even if it is snowing :=)

Hug

Everyone needs a little hug

Even if it's a long hug

A short hug

A hug can be given for no reason at all

And given to those, both big and small

A hug can cheer you, when you're blue

Kids need them

Kittens crave them

Puppies love them

We can provide them

And we need them too

So Here's A Hug

From Me to You
