Good Days, Bad Days, Blonde Days, Blessed Days and Busy Days... These have been our days....

Well summer is almost over with only few weeks left....

Baseball has kept us very busy this year.... Both the boys had a most excellent season. They both did an awesome job.

As some of you know, we had a challenging Monday Night game, which lead Brandon not wanting to play his last game. Boys will be boys and Parents Should Know Better then to "Yell" inappropriate things to kids at this age or any age for that matter. IF Only I was Standing Closer to hear that parent yelling.... The comment "You Suck" which was directed to the person playing 1st base for not catching the ball. This person just so happen to be Brandon. I just don't get "PEOPLE" sometimes. After this comment, Brandon was insisting on not playing his last game and he didn't want his trophy either. After many talks to Brandon and with the help of the coach calling both me and Brandon and speaking with us, Brandon agreed to come back. I must say... Brandon really stepped up to the plate and showed them all WHO he really is... HE couldn't of gone out of the season any better. Brandon won his last game 16 - 10 with some most excellent plays. He caught a very low hit and stepped on 2nd with an out. He got to play 1st base and with a catch from third he was out... and his hits Just Awesome! Each hit, each bases were loaded.... He brought all three boys in and made it to third base. WAY TO GO BRANDON!!! THAT'S MY BOY!!!

Brett is continually getter stronger with his hits and throwing the ball. He was very excited to get his medal... Another proud moment for us all...

I've been alittle or maybe I should ALOT busy lately... I had many "Happenings" going on in June and July...

In June we had Brandon's 10th Birthday... I had kids arriving here at the house starting at 7am and leaving at 6pm. They enjoyed the day with playing kid games and a trip to the pool...

I still get to keep in touch with my dear old friend Pam, whom I miss alot. She was my former co-worker at Bank of the West and had took another job at Mutual of Omaha. We still get to spend some time together but not as much as I'd like... Looks like I need to work on this. She's A True Friend!!! Every year Pam and her husband Butch put on an annual "Trash Can Chicken" party. It's loads of fun and the people are just really fun Peeps!

I got the letter "S" with Flowers of the kids Birthstones Green=Jackie, Purple=Brandon and Blue=Brett.. After Jackie endured watching me in pain she decided to wait... hahaha! Looks like I did my job :-) After the tattoo we got to walk the summer arts festival in downtown omaha...

On the 3rd of July we spent it with the neighbors... They had most excellent Food and Great Fireworks. I spent the majority of the day with the kids... I spray painted their hair and did Bailys toes.... We had lots of fun...

After the 3rd we went back home to McCook to pay our respects in the passing of Jerry Bradley. the reception and funeral was very nice. During our time there Mom and Dale were harvesting and the kids all got to take turns on the combine, including me :-) I then left Brandon back home for a week and Brett and me spent some one on one time...

Today I am blessed to have Jordan stay with me... Jordan is the daughter of Randy and Melinda who use to live here in Bellevue, but have now found their home in Colorado. Jordan came back to Bellevue to spend some time with her friends.... some times, things don't work out as expected. She asked if she could spend the remaining of her time with me and babysit the boys. I was "LIKE - YESSSS" Jordan is just a doll.... She has so many wonderful qualities of her Mother and has been so much fun to have around :-) We really really enjoy having here!! And she's with us until the end of this month... We are all going to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun next weekend! We can't wait....

OK, A Typical Blondie Moment... I am soo blonde, I am sooooooooo blonde! Just how Blonde Can I be???? Guess You'll have to know me to figure this one out!~!!!!
