Wow how time passes. I think it passes too fast and it makes me wonder of all the things I'm missing out on... I also think life as a single working mother raising two boys makes for a very busy life... And I think I get so busy sometimes I forget about my readers and what my readers might be missing out on as well... I apologize for not keeping up with my blog... But with all that I do and for all that I do it's ok to take break. So I therefore accept my apology :-)
Sometimes I just don't blog as I don't like the computer or Internet, other times my computer is throwing a fit and I don't want to deal with it so I find something else to do (like I don't have enough to do) and then the majority of the time I'm too busy or I'm tired and I just don't feel like logging on. It never hurts to be "Unplugged" per say.
You may have notice some little comments with check boxes next to them... Like Funny and Interesting or Cool.... Did you know you can click on these boxes only to let me know what you think of my postings... Try it :-) It works :-) you can find them at the end of each post... Go ahead try it... Even if you don't know me, which the majority of my readers don't... Go for it :-)
Past Happenings:
Well with all of these past happenings in which I'm getting ready to post about.... You'll too understand the break in post...
Not to long ago.... Brandon's football came to an end. All though they didn't win ONE game Brandon came out on top. Everyone got a trophy, some got a medal and only a select few received a plaque with a special meaning which was meant for only one. I'm proud and thankful that Brandon got all three. He got a trophy just like all the other boys for being apart of the Team. He then got a medal for having an A-B Average in school and then the plaque was for "Sportsmanship".... The coach described sportsmanship as someone who never complained, or argued, who always did what he was told and kept the team together. Way to go Brandon :-) At the end they had their every game "Chant" ... See pictures and video below...

Click on play... Turn up the volume - Listen :-) Brandon is in the red sweatshirt towards the end of the video...
This past weekend I was ever so fortunate to visit my friend Chris again within a very old city which is called St. Augustine. Yep... St. Augustine, Florida. We explored many many shops and dined on fine food. We had an awesome meal along with wine at Pizzaalley and breakfast at The World Famous Oasis Restaurant... Very yummy and a wonderful time. We also got to see the Haunted Light House... One of which I will hang in my Light House Bathroom. See pictures below:
Future Travel and Giving Thanks:
On Thanksgiving Day me, my boys, my daughter and our dog (buddy) will be traveling back home to the farm. My how we're looking forward to the trip. Brandon has already called grandma and made sure she was making a pumpkin pie and has that big fat Turkey ready for us. :-)
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and eating my mom's best home cooking food. Ummm yummy Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Turkey, Stuffing and many surprises :-) Oh let's not forget the traditional Raisin Wine. Ewwwweee it may not sound good, but it's really not all that bad... It's just something we do; it's fun and we get a chuckle out of it..
Give Thanks this Thanksgiving... Live life to your fullest, enjoy it and be thankful for what you have or maybe for what you don't have... I'm thankful for my life, my family, my kids, my dog, my friends, my loved ones, my house, my job, and for new beginnings....
May all my readers from near and far have a wonderful safe and Happy Thanksgiving. No matter how you spend it or what you do....Enjoy It and be Thankful you have a day like Thanksgiving Day to Give Thanks!
