Wrestling

Yesterday was a fun day... I awoke at 5am to start my day. I got my hair cut at 7am (see 2 post below) and then off I went to the Wrestling Tournaments. We were at the tournament from 11am to 5pm. A long but fun day. It was a multiple dual were schools from all over would compete. Bellevue (of course), Fremont, Papillion, Plattsmouth (just to name a few).... For each ring there were two matches being played. So a total of 6 matches at a time. A lot of people, a lot of "Hype" and a fun time. The pictures below are from my cell phone. My camera is not beheaving these days. Their dad took lots of pictures as well so maybe I can get some from him and post more later...
The Multiple Dual

Below Brett is getting ready for his 1st match. He did an awesome job. Out of three he won two and took 2nd place. He pinned his last opponent and got pinned on his second. He's doing much better with his escapes and reversals... While he was wrestling I would sit on the outside of the circle and help cheer him on. I would look at him and cheer "You can do it" or cheer those fun Wrestling Moves like: Sprawl, Duck Under, Fall and Bridge... I'm really learning a lot and getting into as well.. Fun times :-) When I do cheer on Brett he'll look at me and give me a nod so I know he hears me, which gives me a great smile... I love helping him on the Matt... I always tell him "Not to give up" and he hears me and doesn't give up :-)... Very rewarding for us both... You Go Brett...

Brandon did a really awesome job as well. He too got 2nd place... With a win on his 1st match, a loss on his 2nd match and another win on his last match. I also sit on the sides and cheer for Brandon... Below he did an excellent job with his "Escape" and came out with a "Leg Shot" (next picture)... He sees me... and he hears me... and he gives it his best shot... That's what it's all about.... Just do what you can.... You Go Brandon :-)

The boys got a 2nd place Medal....
And we each bought them a wrestling shirt :-)
