Tomorrow is my last day at BOTW. And there's nothing like spending the last day to remind me of how fortunate I'm going to be working closer to home... I'll be spending the morning traning Jeremy and then I'll be heading back to Bellevue to attend Brandon's school play. After that, I'm going back out to West Omaha to finish up the training. That's about 100+ miles on my car - in ONE DAY -- Ouch! And then it's the big send off party for Pam and myself at the Fox and the Hound.
I've been somewhat spoiled this past week :-) I've eaten at Brother Sebastian's Steak House, Charleston's, Cheeseburger in Paradise and Granite City... Oh I'm sooo stuffed... But really awesome - yummy food.
I then have a week off before starting at Tigerpaw. I plan on doing a little relaxation and errands and such. On Monday I'm going to go see Jackie and spend the day "tending" to her house and other stuff. :-) Something I've been wanting to do for some time now... Tuesday and/or Wednesday I'm going to go "Scooter" shopping, not buying just looking and trying to get a general idea about $ and such. I'm also going to do a little shopping for myself, need to invest in Jeans :-) Friday I'll pamper myself with getting my nails done, hair, eyebrows, and maybe a massage :-) oh and a tan...
ps: I'm not getting very far on my book, blah! Oh well
Congratulations! A dream realized...it must feel GOOD! Oh, and re: scooters, please think about attending a MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation ) course in your area. You'll learn a lot about riding these two wheeled creatures and what you learn may get you out of a pickle someday. Congrats again on the new job...i think it's gonna be a great change. :0)
ReplyDeleteProlly more than you want to spend but this one kicks hiney....
