New Job

Well, Where do I begin?

I had three interviews this week, two with Mutual of Omaha and one with Tigerpaw Software. After walking out of the 2nd interview with Mutual of Omaha, my heart was with Tigerpaw. I had an interview with them on Thursday and got the job offer today.

I'm very impressed with the successes of this company and the people are just Great! Very talented individuals without a doubt. The working environment is very relaxed and it looks like a fun environment with lot's of opportunity.

They wanted me and they were very helpful in making this happen :=) I'm just in complete WOW right now.

My cube is awesome, I get two big flat screen monitors, they have a recording studio to record their demos and such. They even have video conferencing which I get to participate in. They offer onsite training which I get to attend as well. Jeans, shorts, flip-flops are allowed everyday :-) There's one man who brings his dogs into work... They are part Lab part Chow. One of the dogs name is "Harley" after his motorcycle, no less, and the other is "Trina" after Hurricane Katrina. The dog was stranded without it's owner and now is part of the Tigerpaw family... Fish tanks with tropical fish and much more. A very modern relaxed atmosphere with smart intelligent people, who all seem to love their job and working for Tigerpaw. And as far as the owners go, very successful people :-) No required overtime and flexible hours. And it's gets better. The company is 5 - 8 minutes from my house. So my next purchase is a "Scooter" Haha - Can't you see it :-)

I've already got the license plate picked out "Piglet" :-) No hog, just a piglet trailing behind :-) I'll have some funny goggles and a scarf to go with it. OH and a blow horn "Ahooga":-)

I found a couple scooters which have my eye... Of course this may not happen right at first, but it HAS TO HAPPEN :-)

The Vespausa

Honda

The Honda scooter has my vote so far... Just think you could see Little Miss Piglet on her Scooter with her goggles and flowing scarf scooting along Kennedy Freeway :-)

On Monday I will be turning in the big 2. I'm planning on starting at Tigerpaw on March 2nd, dependent on my notice Wish me luck. I really feel like is a good move for me. Pam my co-worker is also leaving BOTW and moving into Mutual Bank we will be celebrating on the 22nd of this month. :-)

OH WOW! This has Sherrie written all over it... I love the look and the color :=) that's about all I know about it... hahaha

Omaha has Vespa and Piaggio scooters :-) Leisure life sports

  2. Oh Thank-You!

Yes I'm waiting... I'm expecting some money from a side job to come in sometime in March. I plan on using that :-)

For some reason I keep going back to the 250cc Water Cooled Moped. It's rather sharp looking. I like the little seat on the back for Brandon or Brett... (I like the back pad to keep them nested tightly) and it has a storage trunk for my lunch hahahaha... The X-Treme XM-50 is sporty :-)

  3. I would recommend you take a look at these:

Dealer in Omaha is Breeze Cycle on 49th and Center. Kymco has a good reputation, they are affordable, reliable and Breeze is a reputable dealer. Don't get some little underpowered thing. You need something that can keep up with/pass traffic on the street and please wear proper safety gear (you and your passenger).

  4. p.s. Vespas are very cool too and good bikes, but I think a little pricey for what you get.

Lots of reviews of Vespas, Kymcos and such are located at http://www.reviewcentral.co.za/bikes/index.html

  7. Actually the Vino 125 was my first choice, then I found the “Vespa” which lead me to the Honda… but now I’m liking the Kymco… So many choices. When I get it narrowed done I’m going to have a poll. Probably won’t be until late March, but shall see. Thank-You!
